ACTEX / Mad River Books offers a full line of actuarial and insurance resource material, including a diverse selection of study manuals and most textbooks listed in the courses of reading for examinations of the Society of Actuaries, Casualty Actuarial Society, and the Joint Board for the Enrollment of Actuaries.

College and university bookstores, and all other book distributors, should order materials directly from ACTEX Publications. When placing an order please include your customer number and the college/university your bookstore is affiliated with. Thank you.

The prices in our shopping cart do not include shipping charges. Shipping and discount information can be obtained by contacting Customer Service.

Returns Policy

For accounts that are in good standing, we will accept returned merchandise within the following limits:

1. A written request for authorization to return merchandise must be submitted.

2. Returns will only be accepted within six months of the invoice date of purchase.

3. Not more than 25% of any purchase may be returned. For Distributors, not more than 10% of study manuals may be returned.

4. Returned stock must be in suitable condition for resale.

If a title or edition is scheduled for discontinuation, returns will not be accepted. We will do our best to notify you of such edition changes at the time of shipment.
