March 10, 2010      2010 ACTEX will be visiting Temple University on Friday, March 19th. We will be assisting with a workshop for their Gamma Iota Sigma members to explore various exam preparation materials. We applaud Gamma Iota Sigma, Sigma Chapter, at Temple University for doing so much for their members’ career development and enhancement.

March 5, 2010      The Society of Actuaries has announced that all Fellowship Exams will be offered twice per year beginning in the Fall of 2011. March 1, 2010      In Tribute: Robert J. Myers (1913 – 2010) ACTEX Publications mourns the passing of Robert J. Myers and celebrates his lifetime of accomplishment. We were fortunate enough to be personally involved with Mr. Myers while publishing his memoirs, Within the System: My Half-Century in Social Security. He inspired us with his intelligence, kindness and wit. He will be greatly missed.
