The 2009 edition features a major restructuring of the practice exams. In addition to the increase in the number of exams to 8, all practice exams are composed of completely original questions. The fall 2009 printing reflects the removal of some continuous distributions that are no longer listed in the learning objectives for the exam.

The ACTEX study manual contains 10 modules, all with examples and practice problems at the end of each module, all with detailed solutions to help the student solidify understanding of the material.
