Accounting & Finance transition:

ACTEX is ready for the new VEE Accounting & Finance requirement to roll out July 1, 2019. We will be administering courses in both the Accounting and the Finance components, as well as a combined course for full credit.

In light of the upcoming July 1st deadline, ACTEX is also offering a little peace of mind. In addition to our standard pass guarantee (allowing you one free retake of the course or final exam in the event of a failed attempt) we will enroll you into the new Accounting & Finance course should you fail the exam and miss the deadline. Meaning the pass guarantee holds true even while the requirements change!

Why choose an ACTEX VEE Online Course?

From Our Students:

"Dr. Perry, I recently finished your VEE course through ACTEX. I just wanted to reach out and say thank you! Having the flexibility of taking the class at my own pace with my work schedule was huge for me. The structure of the class had a great flow to it and your instructor notes were extremely helpful for learning the material with a nice touch of personality that a textbook lacks. Thanks for putting together such a great class!"

"I enjoyed the course with Dr. Li and Dr. Ng. I think that they both did a great job of helping students understand the concepts of corporate finance. Both Dr. Li and Dr. Ng were prompt in answering questions from students in the online course forums. Thanks to Dr. Li and Dr. Ng, I feel that I can speak, think, and communicate concepts within the framework of corporate finance clearly."

ACTEX VEE Credit Course FAQ

FINAL EXAMS
Students are responsible for finding a proctor for the final examination. The final exam must be proctored by a credentialed actuary or can be a remote proctor using the ProctorU service.
Computer-based tests are randomly-generated from a question bank and are unique for each test. Paper & pencil tests are all the same and therefore fall into a more stringent security protocol. As a result, ONLY CBT tests qualify for flexible scheduling.

Remote Proctoring Option with ProctorU
Those who choose the Computer-Based Test (CBT) for their final exam:
ACTEX Learning has authorized ProctorU to provide remote proctoring services for only $28.
This service is offered as a convenience for our students. ACTEX does NOT profit from use of this service. Students must create a ProctorU account and are responsible for scheduling and paying ProctorU for their exam. The ProctorU service is NOT included in the Pass Guarantee, if you need to retake your exam, you will need to pay for their services again.
Some of the advantages of using ProctorU:

  • You do NOT need to find an ASA or FSA to proctor your exam, you do NOT need to go to your proctor’s location, and there is no time-consuming approval process. Simply choose ProctorU and that’s all!
  • ProctorU is available worldwide 24 hours a day and can schedule your exam when you are ready.
  • You can take the final exam in the comfort of your home, office or any private setting with Internet.

Students must agree to the ACTEXeLearning.com Site Policy in order to access their online course.

COURSE RETAKE POLICY
Students who are unable to achieve a passing score on their first attempt may take the on-demand version of the course, or the final examination only, ONE time at no additional charge. If the student does not receive a passing score after the first retake (course or exam) opportunity, the student must enroll in the course without a discount.
